Job Overview

AquaEasy is seeking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Singapore office. In this role, you will build up competence to deal with dynamic countries in ASEAN and act as a Business partner to advice on business operations related to accounting and costing.

Accounting

• Responsible for full set of accounts for AquaEasy
• Vendor and Customer master data approver
• Review monthly balance sheet and P&L
• Check and prepare payments to suppliers
• Maintain and update Chart of accounts when necessary
• Ensure compliance of local statutory reporting deadlines
• Liaising with internal and external audits and ensure all points are reviewed and closed
• Monitor and review bookkeeping service provider level of services

• Bank Reconciliation
• GL Journal postings / reclassification
• GST submission
• Advise on the external accounting system
• Payroll posting
• Monthly Closing of accounts
• Creation of Monthly Financial Statement
• AP function

• Liquidity Management

• Transparency and cashflow forecasting
• Ensure liquidity planning and cashflow is submitted timely
• Governance

• Supervise and deploy processes
• Risk analysis - prevention and rectification advice (which includes Credit limit calculation to customers)
• Tax

• Ensure compliant to local tax regulation
• Liaise with Corporate Tax department for any tax related matters (i.e. change in business model)
• Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to central GROW and EDB - Monthly Business Review, Current Forecast, Business Plan, Transfer pricing
• Support adhoc reports requirement for different stakeholders
• Analysis

• Provide insights into the financial statements provided by our external bookkeeping services
• Work with different stakeholders to close the gap
• Cost controlling
• Others

• Support management getting in VCs / investors
• Other adhoc request

• To be successful in this role, you must have an MBA/Bachelor's degree in finance related field
• Min 5 years of experience in relevant field
• You must be competent in data analytics and with structural thinking.
• You must have good understanding of accounting, costing, Management reporting processes and be proficient in Oracle Hyperion, SAP, Power BI, Business Warehouse mining and MS office.
• Candidate competent in funding rounds will be advantageous
• You should have good business partnering skills, advising business operations, stakeholder management and collaboration skills and with ability to work in a dynamic cross-cultural environment.
• You must be fluent in your oral and written English, be detailed-oriented and ability willing to work under pressure.
