Roles & Responsibilities Job summary:- Preparation of financial statements and supporting notes in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as in accordance with the local reporting standards and requirements, if applicable Facilitating in the preparation of the Group consolidation package, quarterly financial results announcements and the annual report Facilitating and coordinating on internal controls and internal audit matters Facilitating in internal management reporting and analysis Initiating and implementing process improvements relating to finance and accounting functions Functions and responsibilities:- Instrumental in establishing and maintaining all reporting cycles in adherence to both regulatory and group requirements Coordinating with the respective finance personnel involved in the preparation and provision of the management accounts to understand, investigate and rectify any variances or discrepancies, long outstanding receivables/payables, unusual transactions etc Coordinating with the overseas group reporting team to facilitate the preparation of the Group consolidation package, financial results announcements and the annual report Interacting with senior management and/or overseas reporting group to prepare management accounts and supporting reporting package for monthly and quarterly reporting Preparing a monthly and quarterly financial analysis and comparison of actual results against prior year/period results, and against budgets Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports, including monthly audit schedules, and ensuring completion on timely basis Guiding and supervising the performance of accounts and administrative executives, to ensure deliverables are prepared timely and are of good quality Liaising with external auditors on audit requirements for the year-end statutory audit Preparing the financial statements in accordance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as in accordance with the local reporting standards and requirements, if applicable Preparing annual budgets and cash flow forecasts Reviewing payments prepared before routing for approvals Liaising with internal auditors and recommend improvements to existing internal controls and processes Planning and facilitating on inventory count observation, cash counts etc. to ensure existing internal control and processes are effective Reviewing tax computations, assessing provisional taxes and coordinating if tax agents and authorities if required Executing additional duties/responsibilities as and when required Requirements Candidate must possess Diploma/Degree in Accountancy Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred Experience in utilising computerised accounting systems (ERP preferred) and Microsoft Office, with strong data management and technology skills Strong attention to detail with an aptitude to learn Well organised and with high level of initiative Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Able to multi-task and establish priorities to meet deadlines Strong team player good communication and relationship skills with ability to build relationships across business units and across other divisions Candidate who is keen in building a solid teaching career and be a part of the kampung spirit' team is warmly welcome to send an updated resume to [HIDDEN TEXT]
