MEC Global Partners Asia is the Asia Pacific investment management arm of Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd (\xe2\x80\x9cMEC\xe2\x80\x9d), Japan\xe2\x80\x99s leading listed real estate developer, that has a global presence with offices in USA, Europe and APAC. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the team as a full time Assistant Accountant/ Accountant/ Assistant Finance Manager.

The position will be involved in operational finance and corporate accounting for a portfolio of corporate entities and fund entities. This position reports directly to the Singapore office\'s Senior Finance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly accounts, journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and submit quarterly reporting packs/presentations with variance analysis
• Prepare and process payments and billings including inter-company activities and staff claims
• Handle cashflow projections, fixed deposit and bank account admin matters
• Prepare and submit government financial statistical surveys/data and MAS regulatory returns/surveys
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties eg internal and external auditors, corporate and GST tax agents, corporate secretarial agents. This includes interim and year-end audit, preparation of the audited financial statements and schedules required by the auditors and agents
• Review monthly property and trust-level management accounts for Singapore fund entities
• Prepare quarterly investor reporting questionnaires for Singapore fund entities
• Handle quarterly loan compliance reporting, loan rollover notices and interest payments for Singapore fund entities
• Assist with UAT and implementation of new accounting system

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess Degree in Accountancy or diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Able to handle full set of accounts
• Hands-on experience with accounting software preferably SAP and Netsuite
• Ability to organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
