Job Description

• Position : Assistant Accounts / Finance Manager - Up to $5,000 - Toa Payoh
• Location : Toa Payoh
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week - Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + Transport Allowance + 13 Days AL (Additional 1 day every year, capped at 20 days)
• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Full set of accounts, GL, preparing monthly financial statement, P/L, credit management & reporting.
• Monthly accounts closing including maintaining the integrity of the accounting system (perform postings, revaluations, troubleshooting, comparison of purchase invoice, preparation of payment salary to employee through internet, other journal entries for monthly closing, estimation of commission for intercompany, counter check monthly COGS report)
• Handle GST returns, tax compliance matters and prepare monthly cash forecast.
• Year end closing (FY account closing, annual final auditing)
• Liaise with external auditors for half-year review and year-end audits including preparation of schedules.
• Handling all bank matters, liaising and work with bank relationship.
• Maintain Deposit List, Accrual List,
• Reimbursement to/from HQ preparation
• Preparation of Credit Note (If needed)
• Internal control (maintenance accounting regulation, internal auditing, credit limit process management, physical checking of fixed assets)

Requirements:

• Minimum ACCA or Degree in Accountancy
• 3 Years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office and ERP
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates who can converse in Mandarin only.
