Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily smooth fleet operation
- In-charge and manage all aspects of the vessel including daily technical/deck operation, overall vessel maintenance, inspections, dry dock planning and execution, safety management etc.
- Manage the performance of vessels with specific reference to energy consumption and optimization, planned and unplanned downtime as well as budget performance.
- Assess technical/deck/operational status of vessel/fleet prior to entering into management contracts
- Supervise the assigned fleet in all technical/deck aspects\xef\xbb\xbf
- Participate in the development of the quality management system
- Provide support for continuous improvement processes \xef\xbb\xbf
- Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor in Maritime Studies/ Logistics Management/ Business Administration or equivalent
- COC Class 1 or 2 with seagoing experience preferred\xef\xbb\xbf
- At least 6 - 8 years of working experience working ashore in a ship management environment
