Company Overview
Our client a leading specialist contractor with a significant global presence. They specialize in a broad range of electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications engineering services for various sectors, including building, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking an Assistant General Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing Construction Team focused on Design & Build and A&A projects.
• Provide strategic leadership to ensure quality-driven, metric-focused outcomes that align with the company's strategic and business plans.
• Drive business development initiatives and foster operational growth through external outreach and strategic planning.
• Cultivate and maintain a strong professional network within the construction and engineering industry.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to both local and international leadership.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to M&E Engineers and the Quantity Surveying (QS) team.
• Oversee daily operational activities, manage the annual capital budget, and ensure efficiency in business operations.
• Maintain effective daily communication with international counterparts.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Minimum of 20-25 years of extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in M&E projects.
• Proven experience in managing M&E projects within a reputable Construction Company is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, a proactive approach, and strong negotiation, management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with a diverse team of staff and business partners from multinational backgrounds and cultures.
