Job Description

The Procurement Division comprises of three functional teams in the domain of Governance, Operations and Category Management & Special Projects overseeing all procurement policies, systems and activities.

As an Assistant Head/Senior Officer, Category Management and Special Projects your responsibility would include:

• Develop analytical insights on specific commodities and macro-economic trends to recommend strategies
• Possess and build specialist/domain knowledge of specific commodities
• Setting best in class commodities management strategies and tools (eg, contract terms/models) with Operations team
• Translate recommended strategies to initiatives and execute the initiatives
• Monitor and track the progress of initiatives for management reporting
• Work with Stakeholders on critical projects to understand business priorities, to propose and execute operational strategies with consideration to risk mitigation, proper governance, cost management and timelines
• Responsible for the execution of procurement contracts from working with stakeholders on requisition, sourcing, evaluation, seeking approval for award and contract management

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, ability to translate data to intelligence
• High achieving, independent individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder persuasion and management reporting
• Resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps
• Situational problem solving skills with ability to concise complex problem into executable solution(s)
• Good project management skills to deliver results with given resources and timelines
• Strong understanding of contracting principles, capable of drafting contract solutions with limited supervision
