Job Description


Our client is a manufacturing MNC. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional Human Resources Manager to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR support to Country Manager and Department Managers
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate HR policies and procedures related to employment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and administration
  • Develop programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding employment by analyze manpower, turnover and other HR statistics
  • Assist in the deployment of HR initiatives and provide professional advice on HR matters
  • Performance management as well as execution of policies and projects driven by Regional/Group Headquarters.
  • Responsible for preparation and submission of all relevant HR Reports
  • Provide continuous leadership and guidance to HR Team
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment & retention strategies based on organizational talent needs
  • Identify reliable recruitment channels and negotiate reasonable costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation for all recruitments, all recruitments, work permit quota, work pass applications, etc.
  • Participate in the interview and selection process, and advise on any discrepancies.
  • Utilize internal and external networks to assess and track the competitiveness of current remuneration and benefits packages
  • Manage annual salary increases and bonus pay-outs in alignment with performance reviews and market trends.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting exercise and provide monthly budget variance reports
  • Develop annual training plan with Country Manager & Department Managers to enhance competencies, stay updated on industry best practices, and implement effective training programs for continuous learning.
  • Enhance management-employee working relationships, resolve conflicts and grievances, provide expertise, counseling, and guidance to both management and employees, and effectively communicate HR policies and objectives.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of new HRIS project for SEA, project manage and facilitate end-to-end project activities, , and integration of all countries under SEA into a unified regional HRIS system with a focus on payroll
  • Support & assist in SEA HR activities with fostering and engaging the culture across SEA.
  • Provide expertise advise and support on day-to-day matters
  • Support HR Director, SEA in evaluating existing processes, documentations, and systems. Propose recommendations for implementation of initiatives/changes in various areas.
  • Any ad-hoc duty as assigned
Requirements
  • Min Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resources Management, or equivalent.
  • Possess at least 8 years of relevant experience, of which minimum 3 years at managerial level
  • Regional Southeast Asia exposure
  • Experience in HRIS implementation
  • Good knowledge of employment laws in more than one country, statutory requirements and Human Resources best practices, policies & procedures would be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
