A Fortune 500 company from the retail industry is seeking an experienced candidate for an Assistant HR Manager/HRBP job for their established brand. Located in the central region, this position is responsible for all aspects of the HR function on both operational and strategic level to achieve business objectives across senior leaders and employees across the business.

About the Assistant HR Manager/HRBP Role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be part of the regional HR team based in Singapore and will be responsible in driving strategic and operational HR advise and support to leaders and employees across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to advise, coach and advocate on all HR initiatives by understanding the business needs and ways to improve work relationships, productivity and retention
  • Coordinate and execute activities related to performance management, salary bench-marking and review, employee engagement, recruitment life-cycle and manage HR projects for the SEA region
  • Support leaders in recruitment strategies, provide appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively execute development plans in areas such as performance management, succession planning and talent development
  • Collaborate with COEs to ensure consistent and integrated HR support to the business
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to improve the HR policies, processes and initiatives, and share best practices across various functions for overall continuous improvement
To succeed in this Assistant HR Manager/HRBP role, you must be hands-on in the end to end HR generalist scope and have strong business partnering skills to provide strategic advisory to key stakeholders across the business.

Key Requirements:
  • A qualified Degree with at least six years of HR experience ideally from the FMCG, retail, hospitality or service industries
  • Experience working in a fast paced, complex and matrix organisation would be highly preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical and organisational skills is key in this role
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationship with employees across all levels
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly dynamic, confident and able to work independently in an ambiguous environment
