Job Description

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Process Analysis and Improvement: analyze existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. This involves studying time and motion studies, conducting data analysis, and using various tools and techniques such as value stream mapping or process flowcharting
• Layout and design: work with engineers to design or improving the layout of facilities, production lines, or workstations to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety. This may require considering factors such as space utilization, ergonomic design, material handling, and equipment placement.
• Ensuring that products or services meet specified standards, including implementing quality control processes, performing statistical analysis, conducting root cause analysis for defects, and implementing corrective and preventive measures
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles such as Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and streamline processes
• Support engineers to perform floor marking, raising shopping cart, verify layout and other activities
• Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering or any other engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years and above experience in working in a manufacturing plant
• Good knowledge in manufacturing and logistics process, and systems.
• Knowledge & experience in Industrial Engineering topics, eg, Production technical capacity, Production floor layout, and Flow production, etc
• Experience using Lean Manufacturing methodologies in manufacturing environment
