Assistant It Manager
Job Description
Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network connectivity (LAN/WAN/VPN), and site-based IT systems, ensuring high system availability and reliability across all offices and construction sites.
Lead implementation and support of construction-related systems (BIM, VDC, VR, project management tools, document control systems, CCTV) and ensure seamless integration with corporate platforms (ERP, HRMS, IFCA).
Supervise daily IT operations and helpdesk services, providing prompt technical assistance and user training.
Develop and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and procedures to safeguard corporate data and systems.
Oversee IT budgeting, vendor management, and service-level agreements for hardware, software, and network services.
Research and recommend innovative technologies that improve construction project efficiency, field reporting, and collaboration.
Ensure regular system maintenance, data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures.
Collaborate with project teams and department heads to align IT solutions with operational objectives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of IT experience; prior experience in construction or engineering preferred. Expertise in networking (Cisco, Fortinet, VPN, wireless), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cybersecurity is preferred. Proficiency with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS).
