A day in the life of an Assistant Logistics Manager\xe2\x80\xa6

• Work with 3rd Party Logistics in warehouse management (such as transportation)
• Improvement to route to market to optimise/reduce cost to serve through the implementation of projects derived together with LCA
• Ensure transport safety plans are executed as per zone AOA requirements.
• Initiate cost savings and process improvement projects for both local and IMS
• Eliminate wastages along the supply chain
• Analyse customer order patterns and propose solution to smoothen operations plus costs savings
• Ensure compliance to local regulations and Nestle Quality standards.
• Active participation in GA activities. Participate in year-end stock take, daily checking and analysing of refusal and allocations for confect, ensure correct reason code being used.
• Conduct warehouse walk, distributor audit and perform disposal of non-conforming products

What will make you successful

• Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, customer service & logistics or equivalent
• Solid team player with the ability to lead and multi-task.
• SAP experience is preferred
• Commitment to a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, safety, compliance and quality
