Job Description
$7500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours
Location: Central
Responsibilities
- To prepare and review MAS regulatory returns, mainly preparation of revised MAS 610 and daily compliance ratios.
- To prepare routine head office reports, for consolidation and submission to Taiwan regulatory authorities.
- Attend to any ad-hoc requests from businesses, management or regulators.
- Support other accounting operations such as journal input, system operations and month-end closing process.
- Reviewer for accounts payable process including payments and journal entries.
- Monitor and update accounting team on changes in Financial Reporting Standards, Banking Act, Company Act and MAS regulations etc.
- To update accounting policies and procedure manuals.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and to prepare audit schedules as well as financial statements disclosure items.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or possess ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in MAS regulatory reporting, revised MAS 610 is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications and able to add value to improve work process.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
