The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering our client, one of the world\'s largest financial services organizations
• We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Compliance Quality Assurance
• This starts off as a 12 month contract
• Office Location: Pasir Panjang

The Job

• Perform quality assurance review on FCI investigation cases in accordance with the relevant AML / FCI policies and department procedures within established timeframes
• Produce reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics according to the QA requirements / procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations applicable to the business, as well as pertinent internal or regulatory policy and procedural changes.
• Provide insight into quality gaps discovered as part of the quality assurance process and ensure these gaps are communicated to the managers of the Team.
• Analyze information gathered to develop recommendations for improvement and changes in current procedures or policies.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with investigations units, as applicable.

The Talent

• Bachelor\'s degree in business/finance/accounting or equivalent experience
• Prior AML investigations experience is preferred.
• AML compliance awareness relating to Money Laundering, Crime and Terrorism
• Knowledge of products, services, operations, systems and working knowledge of laws, regulations and regulatory agencies related to assigned areas is an advantage
• Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
• Knowledge of banking products
• General understanding of Financial Products and Markets
• Possesses logical and strong analytical reasoning ability to analyse customer behavior on financial products
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Independent and critical thinker who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in a professional association such as the Association of Certified Anti- Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) would be a distinct advantage
