ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & BRANDING
Strengthen all aspects of MWS’ brand identity guidelines – visual, verbal, associative – and provide custodianship over the brand.
Develop robust ways to ensure brand compliance.
Continuously strengthen how the MWS brand is imbued into the organisation – from physical assets e.g. the naming of proprietary methodologies to logos / emblems, merchandise / collaterals, print literature, digital assets, environmental brand graphics to intangible forms e.g. MWS locations’ spatial experience, tone of voice.
Develop and implement campaigns that promote awareness and understanding of the MWS brand and our cause, internally and externally.
Support MWS’ corporate profile building via sector events (eg. speaking opportunities).
Manage stakeholder / leadership communication for internal communications and external engagement.
Prepare progress reports and updates for key stakeholders.
Manage relationship with external partners / agencies / vendors.
TALENT & INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
Develop ideas and implement plans that encourage active engagement with MWS staff, so as to foster and strengthen the MWS brand by way of internal culture.
Develop ideas and implement plans that promote the MWS employer brand in the talent market.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR team) to ensure alignment.
Channels include but are not limited to:
Staff Newsletter, Communications
Recruitment collaterals and events
Staff Townhall
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT
Support MWS Corporate Services and Centres by developing marketing and communications collaterals to support their publicity, outreach and other engagement efforts. This will include working with the MWS Corporate Services and Centre teams to understand their target audience and project objective, brainstorm for ideas, develop key message and content, and manage the development of creative.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 8-10 years’ similar experience in corporate communications or branding either in-house or with agency, with a track record of delivering effective communication campaigns across multiple platforms for different audiences
Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Business or Marketing
Analytical thinking skills
Creative thinker who can deliver impactful communications
Strong command of English with excellent writing skills
Well versed in social media and digital marketing
The successful candidate will be a results-driven and solutions-oriented individual; a person who has a can-do attitude, rises to the challenges and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to do effective presentations
Ability to work well with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to lead and guide junior staff.
Must be people oriented
Proficient in MS Office, working knowledge of CMS WordPress is an advantage
