Perform as the key person responsible for all aspects of Sports Content programming, scheduling and curation by working with our channel production vendors to drive viewership and engagement across our linear and OTT platforms by ensuring an optimal balance of live, replay and highlight contents.
Oversee and maintain metadata and EPG accuracy across linear, VOD, and digital platforms to enhance discoverability and ensure a seamless viewer experience.
Analyse audience viewership, consumption patterns and content performance to generate actionable insights to guide programming or marketing decisions, and for strategic and commercial decision-making.
Manage vendor relationships and deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with brand and contractual standards across all channel outputs.
Strategize overall sports and ethnic offering within StarHub's content packages with Head, Content
Collaborate and negotiate with channel partners to provide content that drives viewership and subscription for both sports and ethnic content
Work closely with the marketing, regulatory and legal department to ensure quality, timeliness and compliance with brand and contractual standards.
Identify areas of growth and opportunities
Qualifications
Degree in media or closely related field
Extensive experience within a content acquisition deal team, media strategy or channel management team
Experience in media industry with a track record of independently negotiating and closing rights/content agreements
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, within a tight time-frame
Able to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail, and excellent organization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be proactive and be a self-starter
