Job Description

Keppel Enterprise Services is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst who will be responsible for conducting cyber threat investigations and forensics during cyber incidents. Your goal is to work through events of interest and research to find new ways to enhance threat detection across a complex organization. The ideal candidate is expected to operate under pressure, be a strong problem-solver, and always looking for ways to improve processes for effectiveness and efficiency.Responsibilities:

• Performs cyber investigations, and conducts threat hunting across Keppel global environment
• Conducts forensic analysis on systems and engages third-party resources as required
• Provides timely and relevant updates to appropriate stakeholders
• Be current with evolving threat landscape, TTPs and be familiar with industry best practices
• Optimises threat detection with use cases and employing tools such as SIEM, EDR

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in conducting cyber threat investigations
• Familiar with industry best practices and frameworks such as NIST, MITRE
• Experience in threat and malware analysis with application of threat intelligence
• Ability to understand, modify and create threat detection rules using SIEM technologies, such as Splunk
• Ability to recognize and pull disparate information from various sources to support investigations
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with technologies such as host-based detection and response, network forensics, security automation
• Experience in scripting, such as Python, Perl, PowerShell
