Our team is at the heart of digital innovation, focused on simplifying payments through secure, seamless solutions like e-wallets, card payments, and digital banking. The team drives decision making, ensuring major initiatives generate the maximum value for the Grab ecosystem - both in driving down costs or generating incremental revenue.GET TO KNOW THE ROLEWe are looking for a driven and collaborative individual to support us to develop Grab\'s payments strategy for the region. The role will be responsible to support Grab\'s Ecosystem Payments team by:Identifying new opportunities to driving down cost of acceptance for Grab through understanding the payments industry and what drives cost of payment processing across various payment methods and across the marketsDriving cashless payment adoption through understanding the top payment method in each market, as well as understanding consumer payment trends globallyReporting to the Head of Ecosystem Payments, you will work with country leads and other functions in supporting the strategy and key initiatives to ensure we build a reliable and cost effective payment rails for Grab. This role challenges you to merge analytical precision with creative innovation to foster growth and engagement across different customer segments, directly contributing to the evolution of cashless transactions in the region.Key activities include:Support the development of strategic business priorities, based on internal & external analysis. This could require building a robust financial model, leading to actionable functional deliverables and re-allocating business portfolios to align with market opportunitiesDrive alignment on our strategy to build reliable and sustainable payment flows for Grab. Work with product, tech, operations and other stakeholder teams to review product flows, and refresh our thinking on the payments infrastructure for the Grab platformDrive analysis and planning of high impact strategic topics e.g. providing a fact base, problem identification, structured problem solving, advising on implementationScanning the business environment with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights and identify key growth opportunities for the company that will build sustainable competitive advantages.Work independently with analytics and other relevant teams to develop business metrics, analyse performance, derive actionable insights, drive iterations, and communicate progress & impact across the organization.Crafting reports and presentations for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, insights, and forecasts with a well-structured storylineQualificationsThe Must-HavesYou have a strong academic track record and have at least 2-4 years\' experience in banking, fintech or consultancyYou are intellectually curious, highly analytical and passionate about solving problems - love to investigate data to identify root causes and key patterns that could generate valuable insightsYou showcase solid spoken and written communication skills and ability to influence and persuade at the executive level through communication and presentation materialsYou are results-oriented, impact-focused and can thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environmentYour fluency and knowledge of the cultural nuances in Asian Markets will be an advantageAdditional InformationBenefits at Grab:We care deeply about your well-being and are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
