Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical and electrical design teams in developing generator enclosure solutions. Manage product lifecycle: concept, prototyping, testing, and release to manufacturing. Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendors to optimize cost and manufacturability. Support pre-sales by developing technical concepts and reviewing engineering proposals. Oversee testing and validation (acoustic, vibration, thermal, IP/weatherproof). Guide and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 8+ years of product design experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX); PDM experience preferred. Strong background in sheet-metal design, acoustics, thermal management, and structural analysis. * Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
