Festivals & Precinct Development (FPD) Division

National Heritage Board

Minimum 6 months to 1-year Contract Position

You will be involved in the planning and administration of the Singapore Night Festival (SNF) which takes place in August each year. Beyond this, you will assist in the management of the Singapore Heritage Festival (SHF) and placemaking initiatives within the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct.

Project Management

• Assist in the overall planning and project management of NHB\'s signature festivals
• Assist in the operational coordination and execution of programmes and placemaking initiatives, including sourcing for vendors, liaising with external agencies, events and visitor management etc.
• Assist in the preparation and assessment of vendor quotations and tenders
• Assist in the management and maintenance of the festival\xe2\x80\x99s website and collation of programme and event listings
• Assist in the management of school engagement and volunteer initiatives

• Diploma / Degree in Arts Management / Events Management / Communications / Tourism or anything relevant
• At least 2 - 4 years of experience working in the arts / heritage / culture, events management or a relevant sector.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Beneficial to have experience in government administration, procurement, and finance procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be reaching out to a wide range of audience.
• Good command of English (both spoken and written) and is able to communicate in either of the official languages (Malay, Mandarin, Tamil).
• Able to work independently and as a team.
