The role resides in the Finance & Corporate Planning Department and will work closely with the various stakeholders across different departments. Key roles will include conducting a review of business processes and streamline related policies and processes. You are also required to perform follow-up on business process recommendations and assist the various business units in the development of procedures and systems. Responsibilities also include assisting with key projects and execution of risk-based reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Corporate Planning
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program
Develop and implement strategies to deploy governance, risk and compliance framework
Assist in the various functions of Compliance
Conduct transaction reviews in accordance to the compliance checklists
Draft compliance notifications to provide guidance to the business units
Provide regular guidance and support to business units on compliance matters
Review of DC/ITQ/ITT papers
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, which include the formalisation of a revised Finance Manual
Assist in compiling periodic reports to Senior Management
Actively participate in various project initiatives by Management
Perform financial analysis on existing and/or new business
Maintain and review key contracts
Assist in the review of minutes of meetings and secretarial duties
Assist in the preparation of board papers
Assist in ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by the Director
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Finance/Audit or Operations (experience in cash handling, procurement and contract related functions will be an added advantage)
Degree in Finance / Accounting or relevant discipline, ACCA preferred
Experience in system process reviews and implementation, in ensuring adequacy of controls in place with proper risk evaluation and/or mitigating measures
Good organisational skills, independent with excellent follow up ability
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and able to work with different stakeholders
