Assistant Manager (freight Forwarding) ($5000 $6500/aws/vb)

Job Description
$6500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: West
Responsibilities
- Drive process improvement and changes of the overall freight operations to align with deployment of Cargowise One (CW1).
- Plan, execute and monitor the implementation of CW1 with freight team, towards the goal of achieving paperless internal transactions within the freight network.
- Assist in aligning with other functions (e.g. Transport, Contract Logistics, Finance etc) and regional entities on freight ops processes with the roll-out of CW1.
- Achieve key performance indicators for the freight operations function as agreed with the management team
- Drive productivity and cost management improvements within the Freight Operations section
- Drive standardization and alignment of freight operations across the global freight network
- Support the implementation and alignment of CW1 and Freight ops processes with regional country entities, other sections within GFP and new acquisitions
- Ensure healthy level of staff retention and employee engagement according to company standards
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Shipping / Freight Forwarding/ Transportation Industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
