We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Fund Services based in our Vistra, Singapore office. This is a full-time and permanent position reporting to the Senior Manager, Fund Services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall service delivery to assigned clients including the timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables.
  • Be the primary client service contact for assigned client accounts. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
  • Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements.
  • Draft annual financial statements and related FRS/IFRS/US GAAP disclosures. Co-ordinate annual audits.
  • Advise clients on relevant accounting matters.
  • Process capital calls and distributions. Perform management fee and incentive fee calculations
  • Calculate investor and fund NAV and prepare investor statements
  • Understand fund documents and ensure fund\'s compliance with relevant terms.
  • Monitor/adhere to regulatory deadlines for GST, tax and annual filings
  • Coordinate with colleagues in other Vistra offices on client deliverables
  • Coordinate with clients\' other service providers, including offshore accountants, asset/property managers, auditors and banks to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Review work of associates. Provide constructive feedback and coach
  • Onboard funds to Yardi and coordinate with internal service team on client specific requirements. Participate in implementation of new functionality.
  • Undertake general administration and projects as assigned
Key requirements:
  • Degree in accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA ) or finance or equivalent
  • 7 years of accounting experience with private equity real estate funds or real estate organisations and audit firms
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS. Knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage
  • Prepared consolidated group accounts and financial statements
  • Effective client relations, teamworking and management skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking
  • Analytical, independent and resourceful
  • Familiarity with Yardi Investment Management and experience in process improvement will be viewed favourably
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
