Job Description



  • Provide overall strategic directions and leadership for Executive Centre\'s housekeeping team, identifying all areas of operational improvements/enhancements, drawing out the proposed implementation timelines, seeking approval for implementation, and monitoring the execution progress of all improvement projects till completion.
  • Supervise performance of the term contractors (cleaning, pest control, horticulture) and conduct regular Inspection of cleanliness and hygiene of estate and facilities.
  • Hold regular contractors\' meetings and submit contractors\' monthly performance reports on time. Verify contractors\' claims for payment.
  • Budget planning for Executive Centre and controlling the expenditure and costs based on approved budget to support operational needs.
  • Overseeing the execution of approved procurement activities in compliance with NUS procurement policies and procedures.
  • Forecast and plan operations based on guests\' arrival and departures.
  • Support Executive Centre operations in group bookings.
  • Schedule and plan for external window cleaning, curtains cleaning, laundry service, and ad-hoc project works (including scheduling, risk assessment, supervision, etc).
  • Provide customer service and attend to residents\' complaints and feedback.
  • Review and improve the Standard Work Procedures for the housekeeping teams in OHS.
  • Be involved in developing housekeeping budgets and inventory systems across all properties.
  • Procurement of cleaning materials and re-stocking of consumable supplies for all housing properties.
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma holders in Hotel, Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel & Leisure Facilities Management or equivalent; those with extensive experience are also eligible.
  • Preferably with 10 years\' relevant working experience in housekeeping department.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to handle a diverse workforce and multi-cultural environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methodologies and use of cleaning chemicals for different surfaces and materials.
  • Meticulous, independent and pro-active.
  • Proficient with MS office applications.
