Job Title: Assistant Manager (Internal Communications)

About the role:

As part of the internal communications team, you will serve as the architect of our internal
narrative, translating the company's vision into a shared journey for every employee. This role
encompasses strategising, developing, and delivering communication campaigns and initiatives
designed to engage employees and enhance their understanding of FairPrice Group's strategy.
This is an important role in driving our purpose and strengthening our ONE FPG culture as we
transform into a future-fit organisation. This opportunity offers a tangible impact on the
foundational principles of our company, ensuring that all voices are heard and that every
individual feels connected to our overarching purpose.

Key Responsibilities:Strategise, develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan aligned with business strategy and organisational priorities. Collaborate with key partners including HR and senior leadership, to facilitate change, champion innovation, and support the organisation's transformative journey. Lead the implementation of multi-format campaigns for HQ and frontline staff to reinforce our values and cultivate a shared sense of purpose and unified culture. Manage all internal communication platforms, ensuring our messaging is consistent, compelling, and accessible across all channels. This includes the development of content such as videos, employee newsletters, social media posts, and intranet sites. Lead, plan, and manage employee events, including townhalls, family days, national day celebrations, etc. Provide support to senior leaders in crafting messages and talking points for critical organisational announcements and key initiatives, including GCEO messages and internal speeches. Support change management for major projects by delivering communications to support the adoption of digital tools. Measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and leverage data to drive improvements in communication efforts.


Skills and Experience:A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. Experience in strategic internal communications and/or event management. Preferably with 3-5 years of experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive narratives Proficiency in editing and producing various forms of content for different communication platforms. Experience managing projects, campaigns, and content calendars from inception to completion. The capacity to collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders across different departments. Prior experience with MailChimp is advantageous.
