Responsibilities

• Support multiple applications across various technologies and platforms
• Participate and manage all phases of SDLC
• Elicit, organize and translate business requirements into detailed technical functional and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate user requirement sessions and user acceptance test with users
• Deliver elements of system design including wireframe, data migration plan, integration plan, UI / UX design and other detailed deliverables for each SDLC phases
• Understand existing system design for translating user requirements for change requests and implementing new functionality
• Application programming, testing and implementation of application systems
• Troubleshoot problem and provide long term and short term solution
• Provide training to end users
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain efficiency and consistency for implementation of applications
• Prepare and submit project progress report
• Manage application change control and risk mitigation
• Manage applications for compliance to IT standards and policies
• Participate in internal and external system audit
• Participate in RFQ / tender process i.e. tender specs including functional and non-functional specs, submission, clarification and evaluation
• Work with vendor for outsourcing projects

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Systems
• Overall at least 8 years relevant IT experience including 2 successful projects in the role as application analyst or developer
• Experience in hands-on programming (VB.net, Javascript, HTML5, Jquery, Swift, RESTful API, MS SQL, Outsystems). Any other development technology, would be added advantage
• MS .Net Certified Programmer preferred
• Knowledge on UI/UX design would be added advantage
• Working knowledge of both waterfall and agile development methodology
• Able to work as part of an effective team assisting and supporting team members
• Keen learner, self-motivated team player, ability to multi-task across projects and priorities with strong communication and interpersonal skills
