Job Description


OVERALL SUMMARY

  • The function is responsible for driving the EPS brand equity and corporate reputation through digital corporate communications; implementing and executing corporate communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its business.
  • This role includes and is not limited to performing a variety of tasks, such as the creation and development of print and online advertising, web site management and content development, press releases, corporate videos and marketing collateral, marketing budget development and cost tracking.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Develop and execute both internal and external communication initiatives for local and overseas offices
  • Responsible for brand communications, media engagement and corporate internal communications
  • Build brand awareness and enhance EPS\' brand and reputation internally and externally
  • Communicate with and coordinate across various internal and external stakeholders to deliver on marketing initiatives
  • Develop the content and maintain a wide range of marketing material such as websites, press releases, notices, Corporate newsletters as well as other marketing and communicationsrelated projects
  • Drive EPS\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms to publicize and promote the EPS brand
  • Create and develop the content and activities to engage and grow EPS\xe2\x80\x99 followers\xe2\x80\x99 on social media, as well as monitoring and analysis of EPS and its related news on social media
  • Develop all corporate collaterals \xe2\x80\x93 brochures, newsletters, flash, corporate video, etc
  • Manage the execution and support of key initiatives and events
  • Implement media engagement activities, Corporate events and CSR programs
  • Monitor and track the company\xe2\x80\x99s media exposure and generate reports on exposure
  • Development of key messages \xe2\x80\x93 media statements, press releases, speeches
  • Liaison for all media enquiries and develop media interviews and responses
  • Write and edit media releases, speeches, collaterals, reports and other publications
  • Support Crisis Communications activities as required
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
  • A Degree in Mass Communications / Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of corporate communications experience
  • Industry experience will be an advantage, i.e. shipping/oil/gas
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are also essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Resourceful, pro-active and meticulous
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Proficient in website management and maintenance
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Can work with deadlines and possess a strong ability of driving and owning events
  • Possess a strong sense of maturity and professionalism
  • A high level of cross-cultural and emotional intelligence
