Planning of repair and preventive maintenance programme/works for M&E systems
Conduct due diligence study of prevailing market conditions and regulatory requirements fordrafting of maintenance contract requirements.
Prepare cost estimates for the contracts and work with internal stakeholders to ensurebudget sufficiency
Start-To-End management of entire quotation/Request for Proposal/Tender process,including but not limited to raising of requisition paperwork, raising of Purchase Order(s),evaluation and recommendation of proposals
Supervise and ensure that term contractors carry out their works timely, diligently and incompliance with contractual obligations
Cyclical Maintenance/Asset Replacement Works
Conduct study and propose cyclical replacement of components to maintain the up-time ofthe M&E systems.
Conduct study and propose replacement of M&E systems, including value engineeringexercises to improve the performance of the M&E systems
Prepare cost estimates for the works and submission for approval
Start-To-End management of the entire procurement and project management process forthe works
Execution of Remedial Works
Conduct investigations and root-cause analysis for services breakdown and recommendimmediate recovery mitigation/resolution actions.Preparation of paperwork, including but not limited to obtain quotations and raising of Purchase Order(s) from service providers to carry out rectification works to the Gallery\'s satisfaction.
Other Duties
Plan and execute improvement works and Addition & Alteration WorksPropose annual M&E budget for approval by Head of Department. Monitor & control budgetexpenditures in M&E related works
Monitors all feedback/ requests by stakeholders such as staff and tenants through emails andensure all these feedback/ requests are promptly responded and attended to by contractorswithin stipulated time frame.
Monitor and analyse utilities usage to propose ways of energy/water savings.Implement facilities management initiatives that align with the mission, vision and values of theGallery.
Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports.
Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department, including possible rotation or attachmentat Singapore Art Museum under SAM Estates team.
Qualifications:
Preferably with at least 5 years\' experience in managing mission-critical and/or museum facilities
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
Independent, meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines
Must be able to multi-task and manage work priorities in a pro-active and flexible manner
Collaborate effectively with fellow colleagues and demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
Clearly present and articulate ideas to Management, translate feedback into actionable items and follow-up on closure of the items promptly
Demonstrate independence in working in a fast-paced environment.
