Job Description

What the role is:Part of the Corporate Group in IMDA, the Finance Division seeks to perform efficient financial management and control necessary to support all line divisions and business activities within IMDA.General LedgerEnsure all financial records and statements are accurately and promptly recorded, meeting the statutory requirements and in line with the accounting standards and principles.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to banking, settlements, and cash management activities.Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.Carry out the general ledger accounting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.Prepare/ review month-end audit schedules and bank reconciliations.Conduct variance analysis and other financial assessments to support decision-making.Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings.Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline financial operations.Including any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Pre-requisitesThe ideal candidate is a degree holder in accountancy, preferably with at least 3 years of Audit experience.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal control.Proven experience in financial management, with a focus on general ledger accounting.Proficiency in financial ERP systems, such as Workday and SAP.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.Meticulous, effective communication skills and excellent teamwork are essential.Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.Position offered will be commensurate with experience.#LI-BR1About Info-communications Media Development Authority:Info-communications Media Development Authority (www.imda.gov.sg) offers a rewarding career that gives you a front seat in the fast-changing infocomm media sector, where technology and content are shaping the way people view the world more than ever.
