What Partnership Lab Does The Partnership Lab serves as National Youth Council's strategic engine for relationship building and collaboration development with NYC's diverse stakeholder network. We don't just create partnerships - we architect meaningful collaborations that generate lasting impact for Singapore's youth community. Our mission extends beyond traditional partnership management. We curate diverse opportunities through strategic stakeholder engagement, utilising grants as key levers to create mutual value and drive shared outcomes. Through these carefully crafted partnerships, our goal is to develop future-ready youths who are deeply committed to Singapore. As an Assistant Manager / Manager (Partnership Lab) in the Youth Sector team, your work will directly shape how we collaborate with organisations to create meaningful opportunities for young people to thrive, lead, and contribute to our nation's future. Your role centres on three key areas: o Building and fostering relationships with diverse organisations and stakeholders who share our commitment to engaging, developing and empowering youths; o Collaborating with partners to drive national and NYC priorities by supporting youth needs and aspirations through strategic partnerships with youth sector organisations and government agencies; and o Administering relevant grants that provide essential support to youth sector organisations.
What you will be working on:
We are looking for a collaborative team player who is passionate about youth sector partnerships and demonstrates strong capabilities across these essential areas: Stakeholder Management and Partnerships You will identify and engage partners who can deliver programmes that genuinely address youth needs across Singapore. This involves co-shaping programme proposals that create value for all parties, structuring grants and support mechanisms to achieve meaningful youth outcomes, and building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your work will support organisations across the full spectrum of youth development and engagement, ensuring partnerships deliver real impact for young Singaporeans. Partnership Development Your role includes actively supporting partnership development through targeted research and planning. You will draft comprehensive partnership agreements that clearly outline deliverables and success indicators, ensuring all parties understand their commitments and expected outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to developing partnership strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives, helping to create a cohesive approach to youth sector collaboration. Grant Administration and Management You will identify innovative approaches to strengthen partnerships with organisations that support NYC's strategic focus areas, using grants as powerful tools for achieving shared outcomes. Your responsibilities include planning, managing and administering key grant schemes including the National Youth Fund (NYF) and Singapore-ASEAN Youth Fund (SAYF). This work requires meticulous attention to governance standards and accounting procedures to ensure proper stewardship of public resources.
