Roles & Responsibilities As a Technology Specialist (Technology Office), you will support the FM Technology Transformation by co-curating and assessing technology initiatives and applications with technology agencies and technology solution providers that will benefit industry partners (asset owners/FMCs) in their adoption of Smart FM Technologies.
Job Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops, conduct technology scanning, provide evaluations and propose recommendations for new and emerging technologies.
• Engage FM stakeholders, define problem statements, conduct a technology mapping, and identify potential solutions via requirements analysis and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with the government, technology solution providers, and industry partners to provide guidance on enabling resources, such as government grants, test-bedding, and sandboxes, and to educate participating FMCs on current industry trends (IFM/AFM, OBC).
• Collaborate with designated technology partners to facilitate the development of proof-of-concepts for validating and testing solutions and the deployment of use cases to demonstrate the viability of digital technology solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree related to Technology Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics; Computing Science, or a related subject with work experience. (Experience in technology research and innovation, as well as facilities management and project management, is a plus.)
• At least three to eight years of work experience implementing technology projects and providing technological innovation and practical solutions. Candidate without working experience who are passionate about technological innovation apply.
• Experience in organising and conducting proof-of-concept experiments is preferred.
• Good programming and scripting skills and familiar with common programming languages. Knowledge of data science toolkits such as R, NumPy, and MatLab
• Experience with big data analytics technologies such as Spark and Hadoop, visualization tools such as D3.js and Tableau
• Experience with methods of research, innovation and design process will be preferred (e.g. interview, case studies, user-centred design, co-creation, agile innovation)
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in matching appropriate technologies to business needs
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders with the ability to concurrently oversee multiple projects and work independently with diverse teams.

• Open-minded to new ideas, approaches and technologies
• Strong team player with a result-oriented mindset and a can-do mentality.
