Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Market Access is responsible to support the development and execution of the optimal price and access strategies for the business

Tasks & responsibilities

• Supports the Head of Market Access to develop and execute price and access strategies and Healthcare Affairs plans.
• Assist the development and execution of optimal price and access strategies. Provide pricing, reimbursement and pharmacoeconomic information to the business.
• Develop deep insights into the relationships amongst stakeholders within the healthcare system.
• Contribute to the development of partnerships with selected healthcare system stakeholders.
• Support the demonstration of improved outcomes for patients and the healthcare system with company products and solutions to generate advocacy, support patient access and market development.
• Support aligned and compliant Market Access activities and processes (including pricing and launch timing databases).
• Act at all times within the local pharmaceutical standards/ethics.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience sales and marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry or experience in government relations, patient access, market access, health economics, outcomes research, pricing or policy experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting.
• Proven track record of success in managing stakeholders and developing and implementing access strategies
• Proven ability to establish strong influential relationships with key stakeholders/government officials.
• Consultative and negotiation skills
• Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate qualification in a science-related field (e.g. pharmacy, epidemiology, health economics or economics, public health, biostatistics).
• Fluent in English.
• Good interpersonal, time-management, written and oral communication skills.
