A*STAR\'s Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE) hosts A*STAR\'s Quantum Coordination Office (QCO).

QCO brings together expertise in quantum technologies and collaborations for applied quantum research across the whole A*STAR organisation. We work closely with the National Quantum Office and Singapore\'s quantum ecosystem to build new national capabilities in quantum technologies.

In this role, you get to

• Gain a deep understanding of the Singapore Quantum Ecosystem and operations of a research centre by working closely with our scientists, marketing, administrative team and external partners.
• Drive the strategy, plans and execution of branding and publicity strategies from the ground up, in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Involve in planning and implementation of a diverse range of publicity and branding initiatives.
• Management of the creative/design process for marketing material.
• Support the team through the organisation and execution of marketing campaigns and events.
• Plan and executive initiatives to increase brand awareness amongst the quantum community and general public.
• Assist with event planning, including working with vendors and event coordinators.
• Collaborate with our team of researchers to create content for our social media channels, website, and more.
• Support employer branding efforts by researching and identifying relevant opportunities for brand building.
• Draft press releases and pitch stories to the media.
• Assist in talent attraction and retention, talent development and contribute to building a vibrant quantum community among the A*STAR Research Institutes.

At QCO, you will be given the opportunity to shape how we reach and interact with the public as well as the international community. Job Requirements

Qualification & Field of Study
Bachelor\'s in Marketing or Mass Communications or related field.

Min. Years of Experience
At least 5 to 10 years\' of experience in marketing, communications, or event management in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements (e.g. Skills, Competencies)

Demonstrated track record of generating innovative content.
Technical expertise in content creation such as video creation.
Competency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Able to independently organise events, including liaising with vendors and stakeholders, managing budget and handling logistics.
Superb organisation and project management skills and the ability to work on and manage multiple complex projects at once.
Excellent command of the English-language and strong writing skills, including copywriting.
Resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision, independently and in a team.
Willing, adaptable and flexible to take on required/necessary tasks beyond the job description
A self-starter and problem solver who can proactively address any situation
