Who We NeedThis role will assist Director of Nursing and Nursing Administration to oversee the smooth operations of the Nursing Division. He/ she will work with and/ or collaborate with the respective stakeholders within the division as well as all Head of Departments in the hospital to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. This role will also support the Quality of Nursing, Infection Control Team to coordinate, evaluate and develop policies for an active infection control and sanitation programme involving infection surveillance, assessment, control, management reporting coordination and writing. He/ She will also act as a support person for hospital development in Mount Alvernia Hospital on all matters relating to the support of Nursing Division.The responsibilities are as stated below:
Assist Nursing Division in updating administrative processes, stipulated hospital policies and procedures in adherence to standards of nursing care and practices of the hospital.
Assess the organizational situation to analyze and streamline quality developments in the hospital. And to recommend and initiate relevant quality improvement programmes as well as enhancing services and other operational needs in the organization.
Oversee the standardization of all new clinical nursing documentations.
Coordinate project management (selection process, implementation, and user support) of Nursing projects.
Lead the process of exploring emerging roles, technologies and models of best practices, translates global and national initiatives into products, strategy and patient care direction to the nurses in Nursing Division.
Lead, direct and supervise clinical and service quality activities
Apply understanding, monitor and initiate activities to ensure compliance to medico-legal requirements.
Review of all nursing projects to ensure usability of functionality is achieved and support in new initiatives and assist to implement changes.
Analyze audit results and initiate action plans for continuous improvement and compliance.
Support and communicate the hospital/ nursing division\'s organizational structure, philosophies, goals, policies, procedures to employees, patients and family and medical staff.
Interpret, disseminate and implement policies and procedures relating to Nursing at Hospital and Division level.
How to Succeed
Possess a Nursing or Clinical Degree qualification.
Minimum 5 years\' of relevant experience in Health Care and Infection Control.
Good communication and interpersonal skill.
Able to effectively organize and communicate information (both written and oral) with doctors, clinic managers and all staff in the hospital.
