Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Operations and Controls.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To proactively provide support to business regarding compliance issues in respect of account opening from IWH. Staff should be familiar with offshore account opening and supporting documents submitted by frontline
  • Ensures fully conversant with & operates within prevailing bank\xe2\x80\x99s operational procedures to provide effective support for IWH management / sales teams
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement & observe Group Compliance Policy & maintain awareness of operational risk & minimize the likelihood of it occurring
  • Staff is expected to constantly identify ways of improving workflow and operation processes and procedures. Staff should be able to easily adapt to changes in work process an able to multi-task
  • Have a comprehensive understanding and good knowledge about the range of products and services offered in Singapore
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
Requirements
  • Experience in travel and support function within banking
  • Proactive, energetic and meticulous and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask
