Job Description



You are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building and facilities, ensuring that they meet legal requirements and health and safety standards. Your main duties are as below:

  • Develop and implement programmes to maintain buildings, equipment and grounds inclusive of appropriate preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Budgeting and scheduling of major capital projects related to the Centre
  • Develop programme to ensure safety of buildings and people
  • Co-ordinate projects with relevant stakeholders, Quality Management and Audit Programs
  • Implement contracted services for repairs; quality assurance and inspection procedures to monitor work quality and works relating to the department during emergencies (e.g. infectious disease outbreak etc.)
  • Provide technical assistance to all staff in defining and evaluating Engineering requirement and support for all inspections related to new constructions

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience in healthcare environment
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Analytical mind with excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage work on simultaneous projects
  • Resourceful and proactive team player
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
