Assistant Manager for the S4Hana Master Data (Customer and Vendor) Team

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Participate actively in finance projects that impacts vendor/customer master data
• Carry out the UAT activities and troubleshooting for system implementation/ enhancements
• Approves request of vendor update of bank accounts in Ariba
• Process the master data maintenance request from the department users
• Provide advice and support on Master Data processes to all Units of the University
• Work closely with team members or other departments in issue resolution
• Support the internal controls testing of the Master Data processes and ensure compliance of Risk Control Matrix (RCM)
• Liaise with external and internal auditors on Master Data related matters
• Support the university on initiatives in Organisational Excellence (OE) journey
• Drive process improvement

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong process improvement mindset
• Preferably with 3 - 5 years or more of experience
• Meticulous and excellent attention to details
• Preferably with experience in SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong problem solver
• Strong Team Leader
• Strong ability to drive process improvement
