Job Description

The Recruitment and Partnerships team of James Cook University, Singapore, is searching for an Assistant Manager of Outreach and Engagement. The primary goal of the appointee is to assist the Manager of Outreach and Engagement in overseeing the Unibuddy Community to engage prospective students and achieve student recruitment targets throughout the enrollment journey.Responsibilities

• Collaborate with recruitment teams on outreach campaigns to boost university visibility among prospective students.
• Assist the manager in overseeing the Unibuddy Student Ambassador program and reporting on outreach success.
• Share student-generated content and repurpose existing content for social media.
• Build positive relationships with Unibuddy Student Ambassadors and Alumni.
• Assist the manager in involving Unibuddy Student Ambassadors and Alumni in outreach to offer prospective students firsthand insights and community connection.
• Assist in preparing regular and annual reports on outreach and engagement success.
• Provide market intelligence to the manager to identify outreach opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure effective engagement with prospective students in both domestic and international markets.
• Ensure all activities are done in accordance with the requirements of EduTrust, SQC, and other Quality requirements.
• Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the reporting manager.

Key Selection Criteria

• Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the education/recruitment industry.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills in English, along with proficient editorial abilities for accurate proofreading.
• Display a strong aptitude for collaborative teamwork.
• Foster and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Adaptable and flexible in their work environment.
• Previous experience in building online communities and managing the Unibuddy platform would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with CPE Advertising Guidelines preferred.
