The Key Responsibilities:

Establish, maintain strong relationship, with existing and new intermediaries.
Ensure the achievement of continued profitability, premium growth, and operational efficiencies
Determine strategies which includes new products, product revisions, portal enhancement.
Underwrite new and renewal business
Provide product analysis and market intelligence
Review and negotiate policy terms and conditions
Manage direct and facultative reinsurance business
Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and best practices
Evaluate underwriting performance based on financial analysis.
Provide overall direction for underwriting authority, delegation, and audit criteria
Lead a group of underwriters to achieve profitability and plan targets.

The ideal candidate profile:

Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Insurance qualification
5 years of relevant working experience
Able to interact with both internal and external customers
Sound technical expertise coupled with good business sense
Strong leadership capabilities
Ability to drive results by identifying, and resolving problems within scope of responsibility
Strong verbal and written communications and organizational skills.
Strong negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills
