Close coordination with Vessel Command and HQ MOC team to ensure smooth Vessel-Berth coordination that result in Berth on arrival and bunker efficiency. By being able to secure a lower berth waiting, it would help us recover on the vessel schedule and in turn contribute towards our bunker saving effort. Responding to Local Ops exception, recovery process and cargo / damage claim. Lead the team and strive toward maximizing our Asset (Vsl. Slot) utilization - Recap on Vessel loading situation at SIN - whether are the Operated Vessel FULL/Down and share. Oversee vendor management / evaluation performed by Team members which include supporting on Ops volume tracking at PSA Terminal Preparation of Marine Ops Weekly highlight, Berthing / Sit-Rep / Vessel Utilization Repo and Monthly Level 3 Reports Any other projects / assignment. In view of the digitalization transformations and accelerated application of data analytics (via Digital and Power App tools) in our industry, we would also expect the prospective candidate to possess strong inclination in the following areas. Understanding the daily ops process and data collection Transforming the data and generating analytics information for Ops insights so as to strengthen Ops process / effectiveness / efficiency Initiate various digital transformation project or digitalizing the current ops handling/reporting to improve robustness of our Ops handling. To participate and contribute toward any digital projection in the company. This Job Profile also require the following traits and Skill set: Experience on Terminal / Vessel Operation at PSA Terminal (5-years) Having knowledge in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling / Vessel Stowage Awareness - to aid in assessing Vessel Utilization opportunities Being able to adapt/response/make decisions to the changes in the dynamic Ops environment. Able to articulate Ops Data into Ops insights and apply them for deciding making. Have a flair in employing digital tools (e.g. Power BI) in the course of work for analytics exercise. Degree in Marine Operations or related field Have a good understanding about EDIs/APIs and how they can be used to improve Ops handling. Point 4 - 5 is critical as a understanding the daily ops process and data collection can be applied in trend analytics and help facilitate pre-emptive measure or action to better handle exception and spot emergency before it occurs. By Transforming the data and generating analytics information for Ops insights we have the means to help us to strengthen Ops process / effectiveness / efficiency. Therefore, being able to Initiate various digital transformation project or digitalizing the current ops handling/reporting can only serve to improve robustness of our Ops handling. This would require active / keen participation in any digital projection in the company.
