What the role is:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our New Estates Group in evaluating and executing real estate investment opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting thorough due diligence, leading deal execution, and forging and maintaining strategic business partnerships with estates managers and developers. You will also be involved in the business development, lease / sale of mixed used spaces and real-estate implementation of infrastructure and building projects within the Division for our new estates.
What you will be working on:
As a real estate manager, you will: o Evaluate and perform due diligence on real estate investment opportunities including real estate's assets, leases, and liabilities o Lead property portfolio assessments for potential acquisitions and review property documentation, titles, and compliance status o Perform extensive research on market conditions, financial modelling, valuation, property performance metrics and other financial analysis o Prepare investor marketing materials and devise investor engagement strategies to engage the market o Develop strategies for property portfolio optimization and identify potential synergies and cost-savings opportunities. o Execute new development projects, implement new real estate concepts such as adaptive reuse, and develop strategies to strengthen the industrial ecosystem within our new estates. o Assist in developing and maintaining new business partnerships with estate managers and developers and provide support for investor marketing events o Coordinate with various divisions to manage deal execution, documentation, closing processes and oversee post-merger property integration o Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties, present recommendations to senior management, manage relationships with property consultants and advisors
What we are looking for:
- Background in finance, accounting, or real estate - Preferably 3-5 years of working experience in real estate investing or corporate finance - Strong knowledge of the capital market industry, particularly in the real estate sector - Prior experience in the investment team of a reputable private equity real estate firm will be an advantage - Knowledgeable in Singapore and international real estate markets and across the core plus, value add and opportunistic space - Adept in financial modeling and possess a keen sense of numbers with excellent financial analysis skills - Strong written and presentation skills - Self-driven team player who is able to work independently and within a team environment to drive positive outcomes
