Reporting to the Assistant Director (Stewardship), the Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager will support the Division's efforts in fostering and sustaining strong relationships between Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and its donors.

Stewardship is a key pillar of the University's advancement efforts, ensuring that donors remain meaningfully engaged and appropriately recognised for their contributions towards SIT's mission.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination and execution of stewardship initiatives and donor recognition events, providing donors with meaningful opportunities to engage with the University's leadership, faculty, students and fellow supporters. Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders on matters relating to student financial aid supported by donor funds. Support the renewal of philanthropic gifts and contributions through proactive relationship building and engagement with donors. Assist in the preparation of stewardship and impact reports that communicate the transformative outcomes of philanthropy. Ensure timely and effective communication with donors and prospective donors through appreciation letters and donor engagement initiatives. Oversee project timelines, documentation, and administrative processes related to stewardship activities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in donor engagement efforts, contributing to an effective and coordinated approach to donor relations.

Requirements

A Bachelor degree is required. At least 3 years of relevant experience in donor relations, communications, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise and impactful messages for diverse audiences. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proactive, resourceful and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in the education or non-profit sector will be an advantage. * Commitment to the mission and values of SIT with a passion for higher education, philanthropy and making a positive difference within the education sector.
