What the role is:We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Consumer Services & Investigation (CS&I) Division of the Data Innovation & Protection Group of IMDA.The Sensing & Systems team under CS&I plays a leading role in managing the data and IT systems used by internal and public users to fulfil the enterprise objective of building a trusted data environment for businesses and consumers. The candidate will be involved in the management of the national Do Not Call (\xe2\x80\x9cDNC\xe2\x80\x9d) Registry, which includes the development and maintenance of the system, and the planning and implementation of enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.ResponsibilitiesManage the operations of the DNC Registry to ensure continual availability and performance the DNC Registry system.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to manage the development and enhancement of the DNC Registry system to support the needs of the users of the DNC Registry.Oversight of the support services for the DNC Registry system and Point of Contact for users to escalate operational issues.Identify, analyse and propose solutions to fulfil business requirements and recommend potential areas for improvement.Translate business requirements to vendors and stakeholders and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.Manage vendors in the execution of the system development and maintenance, ensuring quality and timely deliverance of services.Assist in preparation and delivery of project reports and dashboards, providing key data insights to support decision making.Provide project management support, including project progress management, resource management and risk management.Provide incident management support, including planning and executing of incident management processes, identifying key issues and solutions, and facilitating communications to stakeholders.Support the overall team\'s responsibilities in the planning, implementation and maintenance of divisional IT software and systems in alignment with divisional and enterprise objectives and goals.Support and participate in enterprise change management for existing and new projects together with other teams and divisions.RequirementsQualifications and/or strong background in Computer Science, Information Science, Project Management or a related field.At least 2 years of relevant working experience.Strong IT knowledge, with excellent knowledge in the management and maintenance of IT systems.Strong project management skills, with the ability and discipline to execute project requirements and manage stakeholders effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that can translate analysis into solutions which meets business objectives.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Overall resourceful, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.#LI-BR1About Info-communications Media Development Authority:Info-communications Media Development Authority (www.imda.gov.sg) offers a rewarding career that gives you a front seat in the fast-changing infocomm media sector, where technology and content are shaping the way people view the world more than ever.
