Provide support to department head in overseeing and governing of Client Control and Singapore Markets Operations day to day activities. Advanced process knowledge in Markets products and asset classes in FX, securities, commodities and derivatives (exchange and OTC). Strong background in pre settlement and post settlment processes, familiar with and operate Nostro and Suspense performance benchmark. Manage, trouble-shoot daily issues and monitor through a set of key operating performance matrix from offshored operations in Hub Service Centres. Ablility to work independently and collaboratively with Hub Service Centres in Bangalore and Manila, Front Office, other Nostro management and other enablement groups.

You are responsible for:

  • Provide operational support to the Markets Trading in the functional area of settlement investigations and controls
  • Knowledge of upstream trade booking, settlement, confirmation processes
  • Acting as the point of contact for platinum clients and work with processing teams to ensure all queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner. Owner to customer issues and see to closure
  • Assist manager in keeping track of onshore KRI and ensure that all failed KRI are promptly escalated.
  • Prepare monthly Control MIS pack for Markets Operations
  • Maintain sound relationships with third party providers and utilise the most appropriate professionals in each particular situation.

  • Understood S.W.I.F.T standards and able to apply to markets settlements and confirmations

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of operational and supervisory experience in functional settlement and control related function
  • Familiar with global markets trading set
  • Project management or process re-engineering certification a plus but not essential
  • Knowledge of markets systems Murex , TLM, and SWIFT a must
  • Minimum Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or Banking discipline
  • Process driven and control focus
