About the role

What you need to know:

• Independently underwrite risks and structure complex programs received from Key Partners
• Maintain and develop key distribution channel relationships
• Maintain a key focus on Agents whilst helping to expand SME business via the broker channel
• Assist PCM to manage AIG\xe2\x80\x99s underwriting processes and procedures in compliance to the SME Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite
• Support SME underwriting trainings in Agency and brokers
• Assist PCM to develop SME underwriting system improvement projects
• Work with relevant leadership on the expansion of the SME segment and product development

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Possess recognized insurance qualification and/or relevant tertiary degree from a recognized institution
• Underwriting experience in SME commercial package or Commercial Property in Singapore
• Relationship orientated mindset
• A flexible approach in a changing work environment
• Good team player
• Self-motivated with a problem solving attitude
• Attention to detail
