Assistant Manager (student Administration), University Scholars Programme
Job Description
This position serves primarily to assist the NTU-USP management in ensuring the smooth running of the programme’s curriculum including fieldwork management, admission, scholarships and bursary, distinguished speaker series, asset management, student internship and special projects. This position will also be providing administrative support to the Director as well as supporting some outreaches activities to promote NTU-USP to the schools.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of NTU-University Scholars Programme, the staff is responsible for assisting in the following areas:
- Manage curriculum planning and course registration matters
- Conduct admission assessment for prospective students and administer interviews
- Track budget, prepare standard operating procedures and enforce good governance on spending
- Facilitate internship opportunities between students and partner companies.
- Provide logistic supports to special projects
- A degree holder with a minimum of 3-4 years of working experience
- Knowledge of undergraduate curriculum in general
- Good data collection and analysis skills
- Good excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to establish rapport with students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good writing skills
