DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager



RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of an Assistant Manager is to deputize the Centre Manager / Deputy Cluster Head (in his/her absence) and be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the Centre in order to provide quality service to clients under the Centre's charge. The Centre aims to provide clients with meaningful engagement, independent skills trainings and adequate care, and the programmes are run in accordance to licensing requirements and high standard of corporate governance.




Client Management & Development




Facilitate the development and implementation of curriculum and the overall training pathway for clients e.g. ITP, CLR, Daily Time-table, Sports/Wellness Programmes, Home Living Skills, Community Living Mobility Skills, Work Readiness Skills, etc. Ensure the adherence of assessment, monitoring and evaluation in the application of professional training methods and periodically refresh training programmes/curriculum Actively lead and promote regular engagement the clients' families Maintain a high standard of quality training to clients Ensure clients are complying with programme guidelines and procedures

Staff Management



Oversee the overall work performance of staff Provide supervision, support and mentorship for staff Ensure efficient manpower plans (e.g. leave management) in place Ensure staff are complying with programme guidelines and procedures

Event and Volunteer Management



Oversee the development and execution of inclusion events for clients and staff To plan the yearly calendar of events Oversee the partnership with external agencies (eg. Singapore Disability Sports Council, Special Olympics Singapore, ComChest, NCSS, MSF, etc)

Administration



Ensure that the services standards are in compliance with the funding authority's regulations and audits Prepare and review reports




QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline e.g. Special Education, Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy




OTHER INFORMATION

At least 3 years of relevant leadership experience will be an advantage Good organisational and people management skills Exposure in community care sector is an added advantage * Location: Tampines
