The role focuses on developing Singapore as a leading destination for corporate meetings and incentive travel and facilitating the delivery of a strong destination experience to corporate end-users. The manager will have regional and industry responsibilities and expected to work closely with Regional Offices and local industry partners to secure international meeting and incentive groups to achieve specific team targets. In addition to being analytical and numerate to evaluate client needs before structuring and disbursing financial grants strategically, the manager needs to be market savvy to analyse market intelligence data and proactively develop new leads for the M&I business. Having a good understanding of the industry will also allow manager to work on grant policy guidelines and frameworks as well as design new global incentives to help position Singapore favourably as the choice meetings and incentives destination. The manager is also required to be proactive on business development platforms such as tradeshows and roadshows, both locally and overseas. The manager is required to cultivate and develop a strong network and relationships with key corporate buyers, incentive planners and MICE intermediaries. The role will also require working closely with the local MICE industry to develop creative and innovative experiences that are customised, to enhance and add greater value to the corporate and incentive travel experience in Singapore. Main responsibilities:
Develop and cultivate business leads either in close partnership with local or international MICE industry partners and partners to achieve team targets
Focus on assigned regional and industry responsibilities to cultivate and develop a strong network or relationships with key corporate buyers, incentive planners and MICE intermediaries
Analyse market intelligence data, understand needs of international market before structuring and managing grant support to clients
Leverage local and international business development platforms such as tradeshows and roadshows to further business development objectives
Work with STB Regional Offices to pitch for business events, facilitate their regional MICE strategies to meet board targets and administer their grant papers and claims disbursement out of HQ
Curate and facilitate the delivery of a strong destination experience for clients with the local MICE industry

Job requirements:
At least 3 to 5 years of working experience
MS Office Experience
Analytical ability and strong writing skills

Familiarity with MICE or business development work is an advantage
