The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesVISUAL MERCHANDISING (50%)\xc2\xb7 Manage Store VM Opex for VM displays , props and activations and Store renovations Capex.\xc2\xb7 Able to write requirements for Visual merchandising / Design tender specifications and undertake the procurement process.\xc2\xb7 Set visual merchandising guidelines to best portray Mandai and ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are strongly adhered to.\xc2\xb7 Involved in the production and implementation of retail pop-up stores, out of park retail activations and events / campaigns.\xc2\xb7 Provide art direction for product photography Ecommerce usage.\xc2\xb7 Provide Graphic design support for instore VM communications and signage.\xc2\xb7 Assist in any ad-hoc project.\xc2\xb7 Inspire and work closely with the frontline team to ensure all retail outlets are well displayed and new products launches are well merchandised.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Retail Design & Marketing team on store openings, marketing events, collateral productions.\xc2\xb7 Manage external & internal vendors on VM productions and ensure that quality of merchandise satisfy standards.\xc2\xb7 Lead in-store VM leads, Interns and an Executive (if assigned) to execute VM changes and store set up.STORE DEVELOPMENT (50%)\xc2\xb7 Able to understand and read store plans and drawings.\xc2\xb7 Identify and give suggestions of the best vendor to award, based on pass work / projects done before.\xc2\xb7 Plan in-park store renovations / improvements and revitalisation for each FY and better managing CAPEX with projects planned.\xc2\xb7 Support internal team on new store design, construction, displays, and refreshing or renovating existing stores.\xc2\xb7 Work with procurement for SESAMI upload.\xc2\xb7 Support out of park pop up store and counters set up.\xc2\xb7 Able to write requirements for building tender specifications.\xc2\xb7 Ensure 50% or more of new store projects to be from old store upcycled or repurposed fixtures and that at least 1 bay / wall is utilised for sustainability projects.\xc2\xb7 Interior design or facility management experience would be advantageous.Job Requirements\xc2\xb7 Minimum Diploma in Visual Merchandising.\xc2\xb7 Preferably at least 2-3 years working in Retail standalone brands and has undertaken shop renovation or refresh projects.\xc2\xb7 Experience in visual merchandising, visual communications, graphic design, fashion merchandising, store planning, interior design would be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Positive, able to multi-task and possesses strong planning ability.\xc2\xb7 Open minded and able to adapt fast.\xc2\xb7 Able to collaborate with various internal stake holders and teams to coordinate efforts for effective work and successful project delivery.\xc2\xb7 Good with your hands and has a keen eye for details.\xc2\xb7 A great visual storyteller, able to articulate ideas.\xc2\xb7 Able to think out of the box.Specialization : Retail
