Job Description

Our client\'s Youth Leadership Team oversees identifying, developing and supporting young adult leaders for active citizenry by providing suitable platforms and opportunities in national-level youth programmes/initiatives and contributing towards social good.

The team is looking to recruit a Assistant Manager (Youth Leadership). The Assistant Manager should be able to support the team in the following areas:

1. Planning and implementation of social media and community engagement strategies for the purpose of community engagement of the INSPIRIT community \xe2\x80\x94 e.g. planning and suggesting new content for community building and sentiment-tracking, interviewing and profiling youth leaders for features; monitoring of content from client\'s socials to identify suitable content for re-positioning;

2. Maintaining the community\xe2\x80\x99s daily engagement on LinkedIn and Telegram via monitoring the relevant dashboards and chat groups, reacting with members\xe2\x80\x99 posts and/or direct messages, creating and sharing timely posts, and ensuring a constant stream of engagement between youth leaders on the closed group and profile;

3. Providing timely reminders to the networks during pre- and post- events and tracking to manage the amplification of online sharing by members;

4. Providing new ideas for the implementation of offline-to-online engagement strategies and tracking of statistics for quarterly reports on the social media and community engagement strategies that will inform on suitable content and strategies.

5. Tracking, identification and recruitment of potential members through profile connections for INSPIRIT or other client\'s networks and general scans; and relaying weekly community sentiments and feedback from the INSPIRIT community to the team as required; and

6. Assisting in the identification and relationship management of suitable youth profiles for opportunities across the client and with partners as necessary.

Other duties include:

1. Supporting the Youth Leadership team in other ad-hoc tasks related to the implementation and operationalisation of programmes and engagement sessions - i.e. client\'s Leaders Course, Our Singapore Leadership Programme (OSLP) for Young Working Adults, OSLP for Sec 4, Kopi Sessions, National Youth Dialogues, INSPIRIT engagements within the team, external divisions, or partners.

2. Supporting identification and recruitment of youth leaders, and the coordination of nominations and deployment of Youth Leaders across the client, WOG and external partners; and

3. Supporting database management such as data updating, tracking and management of membership database and deployments of youth leaders in the CRMS system.

Applicants are required to provide a portfolio on relevant social media experience.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least 1-2 years of experience in social media accounts management and copywriting.

• Knowledge of and interest in youth sector would be advantageous

• Possess good writing, communication, and creative & critical thinking skills

• Resourceful, self-motivated, curious and high learning agility

• A team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative skills to work in cross-functional teams and with diverse key partners

• Able to adapt well and thrive in a dynamic environment

• Proven project management skills

• Proven ability to handle important stakeholder relations, especially in culturally diverse environments

Contract Period: 1 Year

Working Arrangement: Mon to Thurs 8.5hour; Fri 8hour (excluding 1 hour meal break)

Salary: Up to $3,300/month
